From the Desk of Kyle Holmes, CEO
The theme this month was attackers getting faster by letting software do the work for them. A campaign called FortiBleed harvested firewall passwords at scale and fed them straight to ransomware groups. A strain called JadePuffer ran an entire ransomware attack with an AI agent driving it start to finish. And the deepfake voice calls we all used to file under someday are now landing in real finance departments, cloning an executive well enough to move money.
Here is what stands out to us. None of this takes a mastermind anymore. The tools do the heavy lifting, which means a 20-person company is every bit as much a target as a 20,000-person one. For most teams, the honest challenge is simple. When the alarm goes off at 2am, someone has to be watching, and a lean IT team cannot be everywhere at once.
That is the part we take off your plate. Owning the edge of your network, watching the traffic, and answering the alarm when it matters is the work we are built for. If July raised any questions on your end, let’s talk. We would rather have that conversation early than after something happens.
Thank you for subscribing, and please enjoy the rest of the Ping!
